The Horrendous Face Of The Present Day Political System In India
Riots in Gujarat happened and then when
the other political parties throw the responsibility or rather the
irresponsibility of not handling them when they should and could have
been, instead of acknowledging the mistake and simply paying an
apology to the people who truly deserve, the people responsible
rather provoke rioting in Muzaffarnagar to suppress the mouth of the
opposition. That is what politics is all about I believe, or rather
am enforced to believe, that in politics nobody takes the blame and
realize an apology for the same, but rather shut the mouth of anyone
who highlights the wrong doings of the supreme power.
So what does elections 2014 in India
mean to these politicians? It simply means Mr. Rahul Gandhi vs Shri.
Narendra Modi to them and whosoever comes to power would want to RULE
over us, namely the common people of India. So as a common man or as
an 'Aam Aadmi', what do we do? Who do we vote for? We realize that
either this ways or that, both of the main parties lie in the darker
shades of gray, with either of them just slightly lighter than the
other. We vote, we chose, we elect but the irony is that there is no
guarantee of good governance that we get from. False assurances,
false promises, false hope is all that, we the common people have
ever been a victim of and unfortunately, seems like it continues to
remain the same.
There is a new kind hope that has
arisen with the rise of the AAP or the Aam Aadmi Party that formed
the government on the 28th of December, 2013 when it's
leader and now the chief minister of Delhi took the oath of office.
With this rising of a dynamic lad and a former student of the IIT,
the expectations of the people from the political system have
increased 10 folds. We now see it as our ray of hope. With 4 months
still remaining for the big elections, people have given an
opportunity to Mr. Arvind Kejriwal to reform and address the needs
and demands of the common people. If he and his party lives upto the
promises that they made prior to the elections, the people would for
sure support the AAP in the bigger picture, else the fate of our
system, not even god knows, most likely it is headed for a hung
assembly.
